Born in Belo Horizonte/MG, Brazil, in March 10th, 1987. Melo started his professional career in 2005, and in 2008, Melo received his degree in Fine Arts at The School of Music and Fine Arts (EMBAP - Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Parana), in Curitiba, Brazil. This experience not only brought him a diploma, but also the multiple techniques and medias in Painting, Sculpting and Drawing, which would prove to be an invaluable force in creating his collective style.


Moreover, at the age of 18, Melo founded the project MATURIDARTE - Art for Elderly People, where he taught to over 60 elderly people daily classes in Painting and Art History. In 2009, Melo's path took him to The Emerald City - New York City. Forever searching to expose his talent in the center of Contemporary Art, as we know it, to cultivate friendships and fall in love with love itself: to be an artist.


In 2011, he was accepted at The Art Students League of New York, one of the oldest American Art Schools, famous for revealing new and emerging artist such as Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko,Robert Rauschenberg, Joseph Stella, Georgia O'Keefe, Clyfford Still and many others. In May 2012, Melo was selected one of the best and most promising artists of this school by the Margo L. H. Hammerschlag Merit Scholarship. Melo currently lives and works in Oslo, Norway.
